The advertisement read: "For all you dirty scoundrel pirates! Come on out to Ozark Avalon the weekend of August 18th and 19th, 2007. We’ll be holding the second Shipwrecked! Kids are all welcome at this event, and highly encouraged." About 60 people attended the event, which included music, fire-spinning and many crafting events. Several people brought their children along. This was the second annual Shipwrecked-- and the last. The name conflicted with another event, so other names, including Castaway, were suggested for 2008.
